Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Manager Ash Procurement with over 10 years of experience in fly ash sourcing from thermal power plants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with power plant authorities, securing fly ash through tenders, auctions, and direct agreements, and ensuring a steady and cost-effective ash supply for operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and procure fly ash and pond ash from various government and private thermal power plants across regions
- Build and maintain a robust database of thermal power plants, including production capacity, ash generation data, and contact points
- Establish solid relationships with power plant authorities, leveraging direct interactions to secure favorable deals
- Participate in and manage the full lifecycle of tendering, e-auctions, and direct negotiations for ash procurement
- Monitor tender timelines, submission requirements, and documentation compliance
- Coordinate with internal logistics, operations, and legal teams for contract execution and delivery planning
- Track and optimize ash procurement cost, volume, and supply reliability
- Conduct market analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and competitors' movement
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, environmental, and contractual compliance in all ash procurement activities
- Maintain reports on procurement metrics, cost analysis, vendor performance, and supply chain health
- Support business development and project teams with accurate ash availability assessments for new ventures

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain,



Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in fly ash procurement or related field
- Strong network and working relationships with thermal power plants (NTPC, state utilities, IPPs, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in participating in tenders, reverse auctions, and direct negotiations with plant authorities
- Good understanding of ash logistics, government policies, environmental norms, and handling contracts
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel frequently to meet plant officials and manage sourcing on-ground
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and tender platforms (e.g., MSTC, GeM, NTPC portals)

Preferred Skills:

- Prior experience in cement, construction, infrastructure, or waste-to-value sectors
- Knowledge of ash utilization norms, transportation regulations, and sustainability practices
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on cost, quality, and timeliness
- Ability to work independently and drive procurement strategy in a competitive market

NOTE: ASH / FLYASH Procurement experience is must, others not suitable
