We are looking for an experienced and technically proficient HOD – Maintenance to lead our maintenance function. The candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of both Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance, with approximately 10 years of relevant experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the complete Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance activities of the plant.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure maximum availability and reliability of plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, control panels, MCC/PCC panels, DG sets, transformers, pumps, compressors, etc.
- Handle mechanical maintenance of machines, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyors, pumps and other industrial equipment.
- Supervise maintenance technicians, electricians, fitters and other technical staff.
- Prepare and implement daily, weekly and monthly maintenance schedules.
- Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement appropriate root-cause corrective actions.
- Maintain proper records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance, spare parts and equipment history.
- Plan and manage maintenance spares, tools and consumables.
- Coordinate with Production and other departments to minimize machine downtime.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety, machinery safety and statutory requirements.
- Monitor maintenance costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.




- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance work.
- Guide the team in emergency breakdown situations and ensure quick restoration of equipment.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance.
- Positive understanding of industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical panels, motors, drives, PLCs, sensors and control systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings and rotating equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership and team-management abilities.
- Ability to prepare maintenance schedules and reports.
- Good knowledge of maintenance safety practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage breakdown situations effectively.

Experience
- 8–12 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience, with around 10 years preferred.
- Candidates with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, steel, galvanizing, heavy engineering or similar industrial plants will be preferred.
- Prior experience in a Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Head / HOD Maintenance role will be an advantage.

Education Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
