Preferred Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Job Purpose The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of machines and equipment. The role will also involve maintenance documentation, spare-parts management, and supervision of technicians and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities as per the maintenance schedule.
- Attend to and coordinate breakdown maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance schedules, records, reports, and equipment history.
- Monitor machine/equipment performance and identify maintenance requirements.
- Manage maintenance spare parts, tools, and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate with stores/procurement for timely availability of maintenance spares and consumables.
- Supervise and coordinate technicians, contractors, and maintenance teams.
- Provide necessary technical support and guidance to the maintenance team.
- Support customer-related maintenance/service requirements where required.
- Identify recurring equipment problems and support problem-solving and corrective actions.
- Ensure maintenance activities are properly documented and reported to the Maintenance / Operations Manager.
- Coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities to support smooth operations.

Eligibility Essential: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred: Degree in Mechanical Engineering
