We’re hiring for a fast-growing AI-native LegalTech company building next-generation technology for legal teams, enterprises, and qualified services firms.

The company is developing sophisticated AI systems that help legal professionals handle complex workflows such as contract review, drafting, document intelligence, risk identification, legal research, and workflow automation.

This is not just an LLM-wrapper role. The engineering team works on model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, reinforcement learning, domain-specific datasets, and production AI systems where accuracy and reliability are critical.

The Role

We’re looking for a strong Machine Learning Engineer – AI Research who enjoys working at the intersection of research and production engineering.

You’ll have significant ownership over how models are trained, evaluated, improved, and deployed for real-world legal use cases.

What You’ll Work On

- Train and fine-tune LLMs and deep learning models on domain-specific datasets.
- Build rigorous evaluation, benchmarking and error-analysis frameworks.
- Experiment with RLHF, DPO, PPO and preference optimization.
- Build and improve datasets for training, evaluation and model alignment.
- Run structured ML experiments and systematically track model performance.




- Explore new architectures, training approaches and optimization techniques.
- Optimize models across accuracy, latency and inference cost.
- Take promising research ideas from experimentation to production-grade AI systems.
- Collaborate directly with engineering, product and domain experts.

What We’re Looking For

- 3+ years of hands-on Machine Learning / Deep Learning experience.
- Strong experience with LLMs, NLP and model fine-tuning.
- Strong Python + PyTorch/TensorFlow fundamentals.
- Experience designing model evaluations, benchmarks and metrics.
- Exposure to RLHF, DPO, PPO or related RL techniques.
- Experience with experiment tracking tools such as Weights & Biases / MLflow.
- Strong software engineering and problem-solving fundamentals.
- Ability to independently tackle open-ended research problems and turn them into working systems.

Experience building AI for LegalTech, FinTech, healthcare, enterprise AI or other high-stakes domains is a strong plus.
