About the Role

Big Basket is looking for a Loss & Prevention Associate to manage inventory loss prevention, stock accuracy, process compliance, and operational risk across our Quick Commerce/Dark Store operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and control inventory shrinkage, pilferage, damages, and stock discrepancies.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory verification.
- Monitor inward, GRN, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and return processes.
- Identify process gaps and take corrective/preventive actions.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, theft, fraud, and process violations.
- Review CCTV footage and security records whenever required.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, inventory control, FIFO/FEFO, and Loss Prevention guidelines.
- Prepare incident reports, audit reports, RCA, and action plans.




- Coordinate with Store Operations, HR, Security, and other stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Escalate critical incidents and major inventory losses to the relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in Loss Prevention / Retail Audit / Inventory Control / Warehouse / Security.
- Strong observation, analytical, and investigation skills.
- Good knowledge of inventory and warehouse processes.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- High level of integrity, discipline, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced Quick Commerce / Dark Store environment.

Qualification Graduate in any discipline preferred.
