Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Officer role based in Kolkata, responsible for handling territories including Medinipur, Dakshin Dinajpur, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, East and West Burdhaman, and Murshidabad.

The Sales

Officer will manage dealer and distributor relationships, promote Kamdhenu products, and ensure sales targets are achieved across the assigned districts. Daily activities include visiting market channels, identifying current business opportunities, generating leads, and following up with prospective and existing customers. The role involves coordinating sales operations, monitoring stock and orders, and supporting partners with product information, pricing,



and service-related queries.

The Sales

Officer will also prepare regular sales reports, track competition activities, and collaborate with internal teams to improve market penetration and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Operations skills, including territory management, target achievement, and sales reporting.
- Experience in Channel Sales, working with dealers, distributors, and retail partners in building materials, or steel sectors.
- Lead Generation and business development capabilities, with the ability to identify, pursue, and convert new opportunities.
- Customer Service skills, focused on relationship management, issue resolution, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven field sales experience, preferably in steel, construction materials, or related industries.
- Good understanding of local markets in Medinipur, Dakshin Dinajpur, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, Burdhaman, and Murshidabad.
- Ability to work independently, travel extensively within the assigned territory, and manage time efficiently.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office or digital tools for reporting and documentation.
- Minimum education: Graduate degree in any discipline; a specialization in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management is an advantage.
