Key Responsibilities :

- Define and build a centralized metrics layer (KPI standardization).
- Understand business domains quickly and translate them into clean data models.
- Improve and standardize existing Tableau / SSRS reporting landscape.
- Write, manage, and optimize complex stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Handle ongoing support workload (bug fixes, enhancements, new report requests).
- Work directly with business stakeholders for requirement gathering and refinement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data pipelines and transformations.
- Contribute to building a scalable transformation layer (dbt or equivalent).
- Drive data modeling best practices (dimensional modeling, fact/dimension design).
- Evaluate and support BI tool migration (if needed).
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.
- Mentor reporting and analytics team members.

Must Have Skills :

- Strong SQL and data modeling experience.




- Hands-on experience with SSRS and/or Tableau or Similar.
- Robust expertise in stored procedures (MSSQL) and query optimization.
- Experience handling support-driven environments (tickets, report changes, bugs).
- Experience defining business KPIs and metrics layers.
- Ability to bridge business + data.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to dbt or similar transformation frameworks.
- Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake / Databricks / BigQuery / Redshift).
- Experience in BI migration or modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with semantic layers / headless BI concepts.
