Role Description The Logistics Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. The role involves overseeing day-to-day logistics operations, including coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing distribution activities, and ensuring timely delivery to retail outlets and other stakeholders.

The Logistics

Supervisor will monitor inventory levels, optimize warehouse layouts, and ensure accurate documentation for stock movement and dispatch. This position also includes supervising logistics staff, assigning tasks, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and resolving operational issues. The supervisor will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve service levels, control costs,



and support overall supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordination with internal departments, vendors, and transport partners.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management skills, including scheduling, workflow optimization, and process improvement.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills, such as stock monitoring, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate records.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle delivery-related queries and ensure service quality to retail locations and partners.
- Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations, preferably in retail or FMCG, is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of basic ERP or warehouse management systems, and proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools, is an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
