Role Description The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring the movement of raw materials and finished products to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Day-to-day activities include coordinating shipments with carriers, tracking orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and preparing shipping and documentation reports.

The Logistics

Coordinator will collaborate closely with production, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics schedules with client requirements and plant operations.



The role also involves resolving delivery issues, optimizing logistics processes, and supporting compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, monitor performance, and support process improvements.
- Effective Communication abilities to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, transport partners, and customers.
- Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, address delivery concerns, and maintain professional relationships.
- Experience in Inventory Management to track stock levels, manage warehousing activities, and reduce discrepancies.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles to support end-to-end planning, procurement, and distribution.
- Familiarity with logistics software or ERP systems and proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools.
- Attention to detail, robust organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in chemical, manufacturing, or industrial environments is an advantage.
