Title: Logic Monitor Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Logic Monitor Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the organization's enterprise monitoring platform. This role serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for LogicMonitor, ensuring comprehensive monitoring of infrastructure, applications, cloud services, and business-critical systems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in infrastructure monitoring, operational support, automation, and dashboard development. This individual will partner closely with Infrastructure, Security, Application Support, and Operations teams to enhance visibility, improve operational efficiency, reduce alert fatigue, and support proactive incident management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for LogicMonitor.
- Design, implement, configure, maintain, and optimize the Logic Monitor platform.
- Develop monitoring strategies, alerting standards, dashboards, reports, and escalation workflows to improve visibility and operational response.
- Configure and manage monitoring infrastructure, cloud environments, applications, databases, and business-critical services.
- Reduce alert noise through tuning, maintenance windows, dependency mapping, deduplication, and threshold optimization.
- Provide day-to-day operational support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of the monitoring platform.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security,



Application Support, and MCOps teams to enhance monitoring coverage and integrate LogicMonitor with enterprise tools and workflows.
- Support integrations with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira), notification systems, and automation tools.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve monitoring efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Deliver training, knowledge transfer, and monitoring best practices to technical teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to improve system reliability and performance
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Service Desk, Application Support, and Development teams to support operational and project initiatives.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues

- QUALIFICATIONS

Required

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering,



or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience administering enterprise monitoring platforms.
- 5+ years of hands-on LogicMonitor administration experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing experience.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure monitoring, application monitoring, observability, and operational support practices.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, networking, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Experience designing dashboards, reports, and alerting strategies.

Preferred

- Experience with monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
- Experience integrating monitoring platforms with ServiceNow, Jira, or other ITSM tools.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, JSON, REST APIs, or other automation technologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and incident management processes.
