Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager – Logistics to manage logistics operations at our SEZ-based manufacturing facility. The candidate should have strong knowledge of SEZ operations, Customs clearance, Import & Export, Government liaisoning, transportation, and manufacturing logistics.

The role requires regular coordination with SEZ authorities, Customs, Port authorities, Government departments, and other external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end logistics operations for the manufacturing facility.
- Handle SEZ-related operations, documentation, compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with SEZ authorities, Customs officials, Port authorities, and Government departments for approvals, permissions, clearances, and other operational requirements.
- Manage Government liaisoning activities and ensure timely follow-up on regulatory matters.
- Coordinate Import & Export shipments, customs clearance, documentation, and movement of goods.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and port agencies.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound movement of raw materials, consumables, finished goods, and other materials.
- Monitor shipment status, customs clearance, transportation, delivery schedules, and documentation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of logistics, customs, SEZ, and statutory records.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Procurement, Finance, Commercial, and other departments for smooth material movement.
- Handle logistics-related issues and coordinate with concerned authorities/agencies for timely resolution.
- Monitor logistics costs, transportation expenses, and service provider performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Customs, SEZ, Import/Export, and other regulatory requirements.




- Support audits, inspections, statutory submissions, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain effective skilled relationships with Government authorities and external agencies.

Required Experience & Knowledge

- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Logistics / Supply Chain / Import & Export operations.
- Strong experience in SEZ operations and manufacturing facility logistics.
- Hands-on knowledge of Customs clearance and Import/Export documentation.
- Experience in Government liaisoning and coordination with regulatory authorities.
- Knowledge of Port operations, shipping, freight forwarding, and transportation is preferred.
- Experience in coordinating with SEZ, Customs, Port authorities, CHA/CB, transporters, and Government bodies.
- Manufacturing industry experience is preferred, particularly in chemical, biodiesel, edible oil, petrochemical, or similar process industries.

Qualification

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Import & Export will be an added advantage.

Additional Requirements

- Telugu language proficiency is mandatory.
- Local candidates are preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

A candidate with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in SEZ-based manufacturing logistics, particularly with Customs clearance, Government liaisoning, Import/Export, Port operations, and regulatory coordination, will be preferred.
