About the Role

We are looking for skilled and customer-focused Field Technicians / Service Engineers to join our Service & Maintenance team. The role involves the installation, preventive maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of lift systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in lift servicing and maintenance, along with strong troubleshooting, customer-handling, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, servicing, and repair of lift systems.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other technical issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Attend customer service complaints and respond promptly to breakdown and service calls.
- Carry out troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Ensure lift installations and maintenance activities are carried out as per manufacturer specifications, technical standards, and safety requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential faults and prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, checklists, and other required documentation.
- Use appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment for fault identification and resolution.
- Coordinate with Team Leaders, Service Managers, and other technical teams for complex technical issues.
- Ensure minimal repeat complaints by identifying and addressing the root cause of issues.
- Maintain high standards of service quality, safety, workmanship, and customer satisfaction.




- Educate customers on basic operational and safety aspects wherever required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable industry standards.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Response time to customer service and breakdown calls.
- Timely completion of planned preventive maintenance activities.
- First-time resolution and reduction in repeat complaints.
- Service efficiency and productivity.
- Customer satisfaction and feedback.
- Compliance with safety procedures and technical standards.
- Quality of installation, maintenance, and repair work.
- Accuracy and timely submission of service documentation.

Technical / Domain Skills
- Good understanding of lift/elevator systems and their electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Hands-on knowledge of lift installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, sensors, switches, motors, and related components.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used for lift servicing.
- Basic understanding of programming/control systems will be an added advantage.




- Knowledge of applicable lift safety standards and regulations such as ASME/EN standards will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / relevant technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Relevant technical certification in lift/elevator maintenance will be an added advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in lift/elevator installation, maintenance, servicing, or troubleshooting.
- Candidates with experience in hydraulic, traction, pneumatic, or other lift systems will be preferred.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in safety, quality, service efficiency, customer handling, and teamwork.
