Role & responsibilities

- Develop litigation strategies and manage relationships with external legal counsel.
- Establish and manage the company's contract lifecycle management process.
- Provide proactive legal advice on business strategies, potential risks, and legal compliance requirements.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings when necessary.
- Monitor legal developments in urban and rural land regulations.
- Identify emerging legal opportunities beneficial to the organization.
- Conduct due diligence on land records and transactions. • Review and negotiate contracts to minimize legal risks.
- Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable central, state, and local laws, regulations, and permits related to real estate development, construction, environmental regulations, and consumer protection.
- Provide legal support for sales agreements, registrations, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with external legal counsels for litigation and contract management.
- Formulate and manage the legal departments budget.




- Oversee contract drafting to minimize financial risks. • Lead and develop the legal team.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of real estate related legal documents.
- Ensure all transactions comply with relevant real estate laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Advise on matters related to the company's intellectual property, including trademarks and copyrights.

Preferred candidate profile Bachelor of Law (LLB) or Master's degree in Law (LLM) or a specialization in real estate law is preferred.

15+ years of experience in legal roles, with at least 6 years in real estate legal functions.

Robust drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to provide strategic legal advice to senior management. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
