We are looking for an experienced Legal Head to manage and oversee all legal matters related to real estate projects, land acquisition, property transactions, contracts, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all legal matters related to real estate projects and property transactions.
- Review and verify land documents, title deeds, sale deeds, agreements and property records.
- Conduct and oversee legal due diligence for land acquisition and property purchases.
- Handle land acquisition and title verification processes.
- Draft, review and negotiate sale agreements, development agreements, lease agreements, MOUs, vendor agreements and other contracts.
- Ensure compliance with RERA, registration laws, land laws and other applicable real estate regulations.
- Coordinate with government authorities, registration offices, advocates, consultants and legal advisors.
- Manage ongoing and potential litigation, legal notices, disputes and court matters.
- Provide legal opinions and advice to management on property, contractual,
corporate and regulatory matters.
- Monitor legal risks and recommend appropriate measures to protect the company's interests.
- Maintain proper records of all legal documents, agreements, cases and property-related documentation.
- Lead and manage the internal legal team and external legal counsel.
- Keep management updated on important legal developments affecting the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10–15+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of RERA, property laws, land laws, registration laws and contract law.
- Experience in land title verification, due diligence, documentation, and litigation management.
- Robust drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently handle complex legal matters and advise senior management.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
