About us

Clergy & Wisemen is a full-service firm with a strong litigation, regulatory and dispute-management practice, formed in 2021 and grown fast since. We appear before the High Courts, District Courts and statutory forums, and run matters pan-India. Our filing and registry operation is the backbone of that practice, and we are looking for a Law Clerk who can own it.

The role

You will work alongside our advocates and litigation teams and take charge of the procedural machinery that keeps matters moving:

- Filing matters before the High Courts, District Courts and Tribunals or forums, both physical and e-filing
- Preparing and managing filing sets, paper books, annexures, affidavits, vakalatnamas and court forms
- Coordinating with court clerks, registry officials, filing counters and local counsel across jurisdictions
- Tracking listings, defects, re-filings, diary numbers and orders, and clearing defects on time
- Maintaining case records, filing trackers and compliance checklists, largely in Excel
- Supporting advocates on indexing, formatting, pagination and compilation
- Keeping every matter inside its court rules, filing procedures and timelines





This is a procedural and operations-led seat, not a drafting or court-appearance role. If what you want is registry mastery and the machinery of litigation done right, this is the job.

What we are looking for

- Prior experience at a law firm or with a practising advocate is mandatory
- Working knowledge of High Court and District Court filing procedures, and comfort with both physical and e-filing
- Solid Excel: trackers, basic formulas, clean data management
- Well organised, detail-obsessed, and able to hold several matters in the air at once
- Fluent in litigation terminology and how courts actually function
