Role and Responsibilities:

- Drafting Pleadings: Draft complaints, summons, answers, and various interlocutory applications (motions) for civil and/or criminal matters with the highest productivity and accuracy, and determine the required response

- Motion Practice: Prepare, review, and file motions (e.g., motions to compel, motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions), including supporting affidavits and briefs.

- Discovery Drafting: Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admission.

- Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research into case law, statutes, and judicial opinions to support arguments in motions and pleadings.

- Case Management: Manage case filings and ensure strict adherence to court procedures and procedural deadlines.

- Collaboration: Work with senior attorneys to develop legal arguments and case strategy.

- U.S.-based Personal Injury Law drafting, including but not limited to Demand Letters, Motions, Summons & Complaints, and Infant Compromises

- Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, and other items.





- Update the immediate reporting authority about the various case statuses

- Any other task related to Legal Services as assigned

Qualifications:

- A law degree with at least 2 years of work experience in litigation and non-litigation matters

- Demonstrated experience in drafting under US Laws will be preferred

- Excellent English language skills with robust written and verbal communication abilities.

- Researching case law and other related material on relevant laws

- Exposure to handling Litigation and Arbitration proceedings

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A self-starter, able to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision

- Highly organized and detail-oriented

- Strong analytical ability, logical, and problem-solving approach

- Must keep to timelines, ensure outputs, and prepare reports

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications
