Role Description This is a full time, on site Legal Associate role based in Chandigarh.

The Legal

Associate will assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents and case files for corporate and criminal matters.

Responsibilities include conducting legal research, analyzing case law and statutes, preparing briefs and written submissions, and supporting senior counsel in hearings, investigations, bail proceedings, and trials.



The role involves coordinating with clients, gathering and organizing evidence, and maintaining clear and timely communication on case progress.

The Legal

Associate will also contribute to legal strategy, support regulatory inquiries, and help manage cross-border and white-collar matters as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law and the ability to identify and interpret relevant Legal Issues.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, contracts, opinions, and briefs.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for evaluating evidence, assessing legal risks, and supporting case strategy.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interaction and court-facing work.
- LL.B. (or equivalent law degree) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council is an advantage.
- Prior internship or work experience in corporate or criminal litigation is preferred.
- High standards of professional ethics, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace, manage multiple matters, and collaborate within a team.
