Summary

UST is looking for a Functional Configuration Consultant with strong experience in Manhattan WMS configuration, warehouse management processes, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to configure, validate, test, and optimize Manhattan solutions while ensuring successful project delivery and production readiness.

The Opportunity

The Functional Configuration Consultant is responsible for translating business and warehouse requirements into Manhattan WMS configurations. This role requires expertise in Manhattan WMS/Manhattan Active, warehouse operations, logistics processes, integrations, and functional testing activities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Gather and analyze business requirements for Manhattan WMS implementations.
- Configure Manhattan WMS/Manhattan Active based on business and warehouse processes.
- Conduct design workshops, configuration reviews, and functional validation sessions.
- Prepare and maintain functional design and configuration documentation.
- Support test planning, execution, defect analysis, and functional issue resolution.
- Recommend process improvements and configuration enhancements.
- Support go-live activities, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production handover.
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure warehouse management solutions align with operational and business requirements.
- Support implementation, hypercare, and post-production stabilization activities.

What you need:

Required Skills:





- Strong experience with Manhattan Associates WMS Configuration.
- Positive understanding of Manhattan Active and Manhattan platform.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management and logistics processes.
- Experience with automated warehousing environments.
- Understanding of Third-Party Logistics (3PL) integrations.
- Knowledge of JSON, APIs, and integration concepts.
- Experience with Oracle and FTP-based integrations.
- Familiarity with Git, Postman, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desired Skills:

- Experience leading functional or cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of warehouse automation and material handling systems.
- Exposure to end-to-end WMS implementation projects.
- Experience supporting UAT, Go-Live, Hypercare, and production support activities.
- Understanding of supply chain best practices.
- Knowledge of integration architecture and solution validation.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Equivalent industry experience may be considered.
- Experience in Manhattan WMS/Manhattan Active implementations and support.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Experience working in enterprise application integration environments.
