1.Lead monthly closure of accounts and preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
2.Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records in line with Ind AS and organizational policies.
3.Oversee asset management activities including capitalization of assets and depreciation accounting.
4.Authorize payments in SAP prior to treasury processing, ensuring adherence to financial controls and approval processes.
5.Drive cost control measures and support finance efficiency initiatives.
Compliance & Governance:
1.Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations including GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements relevant to the organization.
2.Coordinate with Direct Tax and GST teams for timely filing of statutory returns and regulatory submissions.
3.Support identification and mitigation of risks related to non-compliance with taxation and other regulatory frameworks. 4.Strengthen governance processes, SOPs, internal controls, and compliance monitoring mechanisms.
Audit & Risk Management:
1.Liaise and coordinate with internal and external auditors for smooth closure of audits and implementation of audit recommendations. 2.Support organizational risk assessment initiatives and monitor financial and compliance-related risks.
3.Ensure timely resolution of audit observations and compliance gaps.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
1.Coordinate effectively between program teams and FC&A; teams to address operational and compliance requirements.
2.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless financial governance and process adherence.
3.Support vendor governance and compliance management processes where required.
