B.Sc. Lab Technician – 1 Year Experience

Job Title: Lab Technician

Qualification: B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc. MLT), Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a relevant field

Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant laboratory experience

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform routine laboratory tests accurately according to established procedures and SOPs.
- Receive, identify, label, process, and store patient/specimen samples appropriately.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, stains, and other laboratory materials as required.
- Carry out quality-control procedures and maintain accurate test records.
- Ensure proper documentation of test results and laboratory activities.
- Follow laboratory safety, infection-control, and biomedical waste-disposal procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the laboratory.
- Monitor laboratory stock, reagents, consumables, and supplies.
- Report equipment problems, unusual test results, or quality issues to the senior technician/supervisor.




- Assist senior laboratory staff, doctors, and other healthcare professionals when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory reports.

Required Skills:

- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience.
- Good knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and testing techniques.
- Ability to handle laboratory equipment and biological specimens safely.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of quality-control and laboratory safety practices.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.

Preferred Candidate: A responsible and detail-oriented B.Sc. graduate with at least 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience, capable of independently performing routine laboratory procedures while following safety and quality standards.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
