We are looking for an experienced and technically proficient Lab Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our diagnostic laboratory in Ranchi.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in laboratory operations and team management, along with sound technical knowledge of Histopathology and Frozen Section.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations of the diagnostic laboratory and ensure smooth workflow.
- Supervise and manage laboratory staff, including duty allocation, performance and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety and laboratory protocols.
- Monitor sample collection, processing, reporting and turnaround time (TAT).
- Ensure proper handling, processing and storage of samples.
- Coordinate with pathologists, clinicians and other stakeholders for smooth laboratory operations.
- Handle and troubleshoot operational/technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laboratory standards, SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Monitor equipment functioning, maintenance and calibration.




- Maintain required documentation, records and quality-related reports.
- Ensure adequate availability of reagents, consumables and other laboratory requirements.
- Support audits and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Drive continuous improvement in laboratory processes, quality and efficiency.

Technical Knowledge Mandatory
- Good working knowledge of Histopathology.
- Knowledge/experience in Frozen Section / Frozen Section processing.
- Understanding of laboratory quality systems and diagnostic workflows.
- Knowledge of sample processing, storage and handling procedures.

Eligibility
- MLT / DMLT / B.Sc. MLT qualification is mandatory.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a diagnostic laboratory/hospital laboratory.
- Prior experience in a Lab Manager / Laboratory In-charge / Senior Lab Technologist role will be preferred.
- Strong team management and communication skills.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.
