Responsibilities

- Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture or capillary puncture techniques, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

- Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure proper labeling and documentation.

- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure precise functioning.

- Record and maintain accurate laboratory data and generate reports as required.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols within the laboratory workplace.

- Provide emergency support as needed in the laboratory setting.

- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reagents.

- Stay updated with advancements in laboratory techniques and technology.
