Hiring: L1 AML Transaction Monitoring Analyst | Associate

We are looking for solid AML Transaction Monitoring professionals with hands-on experience in US/International AML TM.

Role: L1 (Level 1) AML Transaction Monitoring Analyst

Experience: 2+ Years

Mandatory: 2+ years relevant AML Transaction Monitoring experience with L1 & L2 exposure

Location: Bangalore – EGL preferred | Hyderabad can be considered

Work Model: 5 Days Work From Office

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners only

Shift: 10 AM – 7 PM

Level: Associate

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in US/International AML Transaction Monitoring, preferably in:

- Retail Banking
- Commercial Banking
- Correspondent Banking

Key Responsibilities

L1 AML TM Analyst:

- Review and triage system-generated AML alerts within SLAs
- Validate customer profiles and analyze transaction behavior
- Identify unusual activity such as structuring
- Document findings and close false-positive alerts
- Escalate genuine suspicious activity to L2
- Prepare clear and detailed case narratives

L2 AML TM Investigator exposure:





- Conduct deep-dive investigations on escalated alerts
- Perform end-to-end money-flow analysis
- Review KYC, Source of Funds and adverse media
- Identify typologies such as smurfing and layering
- Prepare detailed case narratives and SAR/STR documentation
- Provide feedback to L1 on alert quality

- Seller Transaction Monitoring – e.g., Amazon, Myntra
- Fraud Transaction Monitoring
