Key Responsibilities
- Assist cooks and kitchen staff with daily food preparation activities.
- Wash, clean, peel, cut, chop, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients as instructed.
- Assist with arranging and organizing ingredients before cooking.
- Keep kitchen workstations clean, hygienic, and properly organized.
- Clean and maintain kitchen utensils, equipment, and preparation areas.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness during busy restaurant operations.
- Help cooks with basic preparation tasks as required.
- Ensure ingredients and kitchen supplies are stored properly.
- Assist in moving and arranging kitchen supplies and food items.
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours to ensure orders are completed efficiently.
- Follow instructions provided by the Cook, Chef, or kitchen supervisor.
- Help maintain proper hygiene and sanitation standards inside the kitchen.
- Assist with cleaning activities before and after kitchen operations.
- Help reduce food wastage by handling ingredients carefully.
- Maintain a clean and safe working workplace.
- Follow restaurant safety and hygiene procedures.
- Cooperate with other kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
