MSA Instruments is looking for a Junior Service Technician(I.T.I) to provide technical assistance in installation, inspection, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of industrial instrumentation, automation and related equipment at the company's office, project sites and customer locations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in installation, commissioning and servicing of process instruments and automation equipment.
- Support senior service engineers in installation and testing of pressure, temperature, level, flow and other measuring instruments.
- Must have knowledge of basic instrument wiring, cable termination, loop checking and electrical connections.
- Carry out calibration and troubleshooting of transmitters, sensors and field instruments. Professional and practical
- Assist in basic PLC, HMI, control panel and automation-related activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Must understand basic wiring diagrams, instrument datasheets and technical manuals.
- Prepare basic service reports, site observations and job completion records.
- Visit customer plants, factories and industrial sites for installation, maintenance and service activities.
- Follow all safety procedures and customer-site requirements.
- Coordinate with Senior Service Engineers and other departments for timely completion of assigned work.
Key Skills
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Knowledge of wiring, cable termination and basic electrical components.
- Basic understanding of technical drawings and instrument manuals.
- Willingness to travel to customer/industrial sites.
- Good discipline, teamwork, learning attitude and safety awareness.
