Junior Process Design Engineer – Water & Wastewater Treatment

About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Process Design Engineer with hands-on experience in AIRP, FRU, STP, ETP, RO or related water-treatment systems.
The candidate will be responsible for independently carrying out process design, calculations and technical engineering activities. The German technical team will periodically review the work to ensure technical quality and alignment with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently carry out process design of AIRP, FRU, STP and ETP systems
- Perform process calculations, water balance and hydraulic calculations
- Analyse raw water/wastewater characteristics and select appropriate treatment processes
- Work on groundwater treatment and related treatment-system design
- Size and select treatment units, pumps, blowers, vessels and pipelines
- Prepare PFDs, P&IDs; and hydraulic flow diagrams
- Prepare process datasheets,
equipment specifications and calculation sheets
- Prepare BOQ/BOM
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and civil engineering teams
- Support technical documentation, site activities and commissioning
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater treatment or process engineering
- Hands-on experience with AIRP, FRU, STP, ETP, RO or similar systems
- Good understanding of process and hydraulic calculations
- Experience with PFD/P&ID; preparation and equipment sizing
- Valuable knowledge of BOQ/BOM and technical documentation
- MS Excel; AutoCAD experience preferred
- Ability to independently handle process-design assignments with minimal supervision
