Role Overview

We are looking for a enthusiastic, detailed-oriented Junior Writer with a medical or paramedical background and foundational content writing experience. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex medical concepts and compassionate, easy-to-understand content for international patients seeking medical procedures in India (e.g., orthopedics, cosmetic surgery, oncology, cardiology, bariatric care).

Key Responsibilities

- Medical Content Creation: Write accurate, empathetic, and engaging articles, procedure guides, blogs, and landing pages tailored for international medical travel patients.
- Patient Education & FAQs: Simplify complex medical jargon and surgical procedures into easy-to-understand language regarding treatment options, recovery timelines, and preparation.
- SEO Optimization: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to write search-engine-optimized content using best practices to boost organic visibility on IndiCure.com.
- Surgeon & Hospital Highlights: Research and draft detailed profiles of board-certified specialists and partner accredited healthcare facilities.




- Social Media & Copywriting: Assist in creating short-form content, post copy, patient testimonials, and newsletters.
- Fact-Checking & Quality: Ensure all published content adheres to medical accuracy, ethical tone, and internal quality guidelines.

Key Qualifications & Skills

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a medical/paramedical field (BAMS, BHMS, BDS, Nursing, B.Pharm, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Allied Health, or equivalent).
- Writing Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in medical, healthcare, or wellness content writing/blogging.
- English Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with a strong command of grammar, tone, and active phrasing.
- Medical Literacy: Strong ability to read, interpret, and simplify clinical reports, procedure steps, and surgical recovery protocols.
- SEO Familiarity: Basic understanding of keyword research, meta titles, descriptions, and structuring content for web readers.
- Research Skills: Ability to gather accurate information from trusted medical journals, hospital guidelines, and clinical sources.
