We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Corporate Legal Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal support across a broad range of corporate matters including contracts, compliance, structuring, mergers & acquisitions, and regulatory affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bar Council registered Advocate, who can serve the legal notice and can appear in NCLT.
- Draft, review and vet corporate and commercial agreements.
- Assist with M&A;, investments, fundraising, share transfers and other transactions.
- Support legal due diligence and preparation of reports.
- Assist with Companies Act, FEMA and corporate compliance matters.
- Handle MCA/ROC filings, resolutions and related documentation.
- Assist with IP-related agreements and legal research.
- Prepare legal notes and preliminary opinions.
- Coordinate with clients and other professionals on assigned matters.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.)
from a recognized university; LL.M. or CS is preferable.
- 1 year of experience in corporate legal work (preferably in a law firm ).
- Solid understanding of Companies Act, Contract Act, FEMA, and other relevant regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with private equity / venture capital transactions or startup ecosystem.
- Exposure to cross-border transactions and international legal frameworks.
- Proficiency in legal research tools (Manupatra, SCC, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
