About the Role

We are hiring a performance-driven Frontend Developer with a strong preference for Svelte / SvelteKit, while remaining open to talented React / Vue developers ready to build with Svelte in production.

At Bedrock Foundry, we prioritize minimal bundle sizes, zero-virtual-DOM overhead, and true reactivity—which is why Svelte is our primary framework of choice for web applications and hardware control dashboards. However, if you are a strong React developer who understands component architecture, modern state management, and async JavaScript, and you are excited to transition into Svelte, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- UI Engineering: Build, test, and ship responsive web applications and real-time dashboards primarily using Svelte / SvelteKit (and React where applicable).
- API Integration: Connect client-side interfaces to high-speed backend services (Rust / Python) using RESTful APIs, WebSockets, or gRPC endpoints.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize client-side rendering, minimize bundle sizes, and ensure smooth 60 FPS performance across desktop and mobile browsers.
- Component Architecture: Maintain reusable component libraries and design systems using Tailwind CSS or modern CSS modules.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and hardware leads to translate wireframes and hardware data streams into intuitive user interfaces.

Qualifications

- Experience: 0 to 2 years of frontend web development experience (Freshers with strong projects OR experienced developers welcome).
- Education: B.Tech / BE / BCA / MCA / B.Sc in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical coding background.
- Core Web Stack: Strong fluency in JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, Tailwind CSS).
- Framework Flexibility:
- Primary: Hands-on experience with Svelte / SvelteKit.
- OR: Solid production/project experience in React / Next.js / Vue.js with a strong desire and readiness to adopt Svelte rapidly.
- Async & State: Good understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, async/await patterns, and client-side state management.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

- A public GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing live Svelte, SvelteKit, or React applications.
- Experience using TypeScript inside component frameworks.
- Familiarity with real-time data visualization libraries (like Chart.js, Recharts, or Canvas rendering) for live system telemetry.
- Basic understanding of build tools (Vite) and deployment workflows.
