Job Overview

Alphalogic Industries Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Design Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of mechanical design, AutoCAD, and engineering drawings, along with a willingness to learn and grow in the industrial storage and racking industry.

The role will involve preparing drawings, supporting design and estimation activities, coordinating with project teams, and conducting site visits for measurements and project execution support.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

- Prepare and modify 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
- Assist in designing industrial storage systems, including pallet racks, shelving systems, mezzanine floors, and customized storage solutions.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM)..
- Coordinate with production and project teams to ensure designs are executed as per requirements.
- Maintain design records, drawings, and revision history.
- Conduct site visits for measurements, inspections, and project assessments.
- Travel to customer locations and project sites as required.
- Assist in preparing material quantities and project estimates.




- Support costing activities by preparing BOMs and quantity calculations.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams for project execution.
- Prepare project updates and reports for management.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 6 Months to 2 Years of experience in design, project coordination, fabrication, manufacturing, storage systems, or related industries.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Solid willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Field visits and travel to customer sites are mandatory.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving license will be preferred.

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
