As a Junior Creative Designer you will work closely with Alienkind’s core creative team to turn ideas, briefs and references into strong visual work. You’ll contribute across social, campaigns, launches, events and brand communication, while building your understanding of how creative thinking becomes design.

We’re looking for someone with robust visual fundamentals,curiosity and a genuine interest in why good design works — not someone who only knows how to use design software.

Someone who doesn’t just ask “How do I make this?”, but “What should this look like, and why?”

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work closely with the core creative team on creative concepts and visual directions.
- Translate creative briefs and ideas into strong visual concepts.
- Design for social media, campaigns, launches, events, menus, digital and brand communication.
- Develop layouts, typography, compositions, graphic systems and visual treatments.
- Create social-first content across static posts, carousels, stories and other formats.
- Explore different visual directions instead of relying on one design style.
- Work with creative, marketing, social and content teams.
- Build moodboards, references and visual directions before execution.
- Experiment with trends, culture, typography, photography,



illustration and emerging visual styles.
- Adapt designs across formats, platforms and campaign requirements.
- Take feedback, iterate quickly and improve work through multiple rounds.
- Maintain visual consistency while knowing when experimentation is appropriate.
- Organise working files, assets and final exports properly.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Freshers are welcome. A degree is not the most important thing here; your eye for content is.

- Strong understanding of composition, typography, colour, hierarchy and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Figma; knowledge of After Effects or other motion tools is a plus.
- Strong visual taste and curiosity.
- Ability to find references and understand why a visual works.
- Interest in culture, fashion, music, food, internet culture, advertising and contemporary design.
- Someone who doesn’t just ask “How do I make this?”, but “What should this look like, and why?”
- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating original thinking and execution.
