About the Role

Makesense Advertising is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Content / Copywriter who has a way with words, an eye for ideas, and a strong interest in advertising, brands, and social media.

The role involves developing engaging copy and content across multiple brands, platforms, and campaigns while working closely with the Creative and Digital teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Write engaging copy for social media posts, Reels, campaigns, advertisements, and digital content.
- Develop captions, headlines, taglines, hooks, campaign lines, and short-form copy.
- Write scripts and concepts for Reels, brand videos, product videos, and other digital content.
- Assist in developing creative concepts and campaign ideas for different brands.
- Understand brand positioning, target audiences, and communication objectives before developing content.
- Adapt writing style and tone according to different brands and audiences.
- Research brands, competitors, industries, trends, and relevant topics to develop fresh content ideas.
- Work closely with Designers, Digital Marketing, Video, and Creative teams to turn ideas into effective content.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency.
- Stay updated with social media trends,



pop culture, moment marketing opportunities, and emerging content formats.
- Participate actively in brainstorming and creative discussions.

Requirements
- Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, advertising, or related fields can apply.
- Strong command of English with good grammar and writing skills.
- Ability to understand and write content in Malayalam is an advantage.
- Solid creative thinking and ability to generate fresh ideas.
- Interest in advertising, branding, social media, and digital content.
- Ability to write both short, catchy advertising copy and longer-form content when required.
- Good research and proofreading skills.
- Ability to understand different brand tones and switch writing styles accordingly.
- Ability to work on multiple brands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Basic understanding of AI-assisted content and research tools is an advantage.
