We audit existing operations, define organisation structures, roles, workflows, SOPs, accountability systems and management reports, and implement practical software to support them.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Junior Business Operations Analyst — Client Implementation role based in the Greater Chennai Area.

The role involves working directly with clients to understand how their businesses currently operate, identify operational gaps and convert unstructured information into clear processes, documentation and implementation plans.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Coordinating with client owners, managers and employees.
- Scheduling and supporting client meetings, business audits and site visits.
- Conducting structured interviews to understand actual roles, responsibilities and workflows.
- Collecting employee, process, ERP, spreadsheet and operational information.
- Documenting current processes, operational gaps, roles, responsibilities and approval requirements.
- Preparing meeting minutes, action trackers, process notes and initial SOP drafts.
- Following up with clients for missing information, approvals and pending actions.
- Maintaining accurate client information, milestones and deliverables in Kiban, our internal project and architecture platform.
- Supporting the preparation of management reports, KPI trackers and operational dashboards.
- Assisting with client-software implementation, employee training and adoption monitoring.




- Coordinating with consultants and developers to ensure business requirements are correctly translated into practical systems.
- Escalating delays, missing inputs and operational risks to the appropriate person.

The role is primarily remote, with required in-person meetings in Chennai and occasional client visits within Tamil Nadu.

Qualifications

- Zero to two years of experience in business analysis, operations, client coordination, process analysis, project coordination, implementation support or a related field.
- Ability to communicate professionally with business owners, managers and employees.
- Strong requirement-gathering, questioning and active-listening skills.
- Ability to understand unclear business situations and organise them into structured information.
- Basic understanding of business processes, workflows, roles, responsibilities and approvals.
- Strong documentation skills for preparing meeting notes, process documents, action trackers and SOP drafts.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
- Ability to work accurately with both structured and unstructured business information.
- Solid follow-up, coordination and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate in both Tamil and English.
- Willingness to attend meetings in Chennai and travel within Tamil Nadu for client audits when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, project-management tools or business software is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.

- Compensation: ₹1.80–₹2.04 LPA, based on relevant experience and demonstrated capability
