Job Summary

We are looking for a WordPress & Shopify Developer to join our Technology team in Dehradun. You will work on client and internal websites across WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, and related CMS environments. The role includes website development, page building, customization, maintenance, debugging, responsiveness, performance optimisation, plugin/app management, and ongoing technical support.

We are open to both freshers with strong practical skills and experienced candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building websites, solving problems, learning quickly, and taking ownership of day-to-day CMS development work. Comfortable working full-time from our Dehradun office.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify.

- Create and modify pages, sections, landing pages, headers, footers, menus, and other website components.

- Work with WordPress themes, plugins, Elementor or similar page builders.

- Work with Shopify themes, sections, products, collections, navigation, and store settings.

- Handle WooCommerce and Shopify e-commerce requirements.

- Implement responsive designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

- Make HTML and CSS changes where required.

- Troubleshoot website, layout, plugin, theme, and functionality issues.

- Perform website updates, maintenance, backups, and routine checks.

- Assist with website migrations, staging environments, domains, hosting, and deployments.

- Improve basic website speed and performance.

- Integrate forms, tracking codes, third-party tools, APIs, and marketing scripts when required.

- Coordinate with designers, marketers, and developers to implement website requirements.

- Test work before deployment and ensure changes do not break existing functionality.

- Maintain clean,



consistent implementation across client and internal projects.

- Document important website configurations, credentials handovers, and technical changes where required.

- Take ownership of assigned support and maintenance tasks and close them within expected timelines.

Requirements

- Shopify Liquid basics.

- PHP basics.

- JavaScript/jQuery basics.

- WooCommerce experience.

- Shopify app configuration.

- Theme customization experience.

- Figma-to-WordPress implementation.

- cPanel or hosting-panel familiarity.

- DNS and Cloudflare basics.

- Website migration experience.

- Basic SEO implementation knowledge.

- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or Meta Pixel implementation.

- Website speed optimisation.

- Git/GitHub familiarity.

- Basic knowledge of security, backups, and staging environments.

- Basic hands-on experience with WordPress.

- Basic familiarity with Shopify or willingness and ability to learn it quickly.

- Understanding of HTML and CSS.

- Experience using Elementor or a similar WordPress page builder.

- Understanding of responsive web design.

- Ability to create and modify website pages independently.

- Basic understanding of plugins, themes, menus, forms, and website settings.

- Ability to troubleshoot common website issues.

- Attention to detail and ability to follow designs accurately.

- Basic understanding of website hosting and domains.

- Strong willingness to learn and solve problems independently.

- Comfortable working full time from our Dehradun office.

- For experienced candidates, we would expect stronger independent ownership across both WordPress and Shopify.
