Our Digital Technology Group builds and runs the cloud platforms and shared services behind Arup s data, analytics and digital products - and we re looking for a Platform Engineer to help take them further.

- Help build and run secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and shared platform services used by teams across Arup.

- Automate everything you can - Infrastructure as Code in Terraform, CI/CD pipelines and self-service tooling.

- Improve reliability and security through monitoring, incident response and sensible governance.

- Work alongside platform engineers, data engineers and architects, with real scope to shape how we engineer.

Is this role right for you

- You are recent or have some experience in platform engineering, DevOps or cloud engineering, supporting production workloads.

- Youve had some exposure to major cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) and with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.

- You re comfortable with Git and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and script your way out of repetitive work, ideally in Python.

- You ve come across containers or serverless, monitoring and alerting, and you keep security front of mind.

- You enjoy collaborating, keep learning, and can explain technical ideas to non-technical colleagues.
