Role Description: The Accountant at Khet will manage day-to-day financial operations, including Invoicing and billing, recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The role involves preparing invoices, tracking accounts payable and receivable, assisting with monthly and annual closing, and supporting budgeting and financial reporting under the Chartered Accounting. The accountant will ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external auditors or consultants as needed.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rohini, Delhi,



and requires close collaboration with the finance and operations teams to support business growth and financial stability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entry posting, and account reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and basic financial analysis to support decision-making and performance tracking.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar), MS Excel, and other productivity tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, compliance requirements, and familiarity with audit processes.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Prior experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer brands is beneficial, along with an interest in the fragrance or lifestyle sector.
