Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Java Microservices Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, enterprise integration, and event-driven architecture , along with practical exposure to Agentic AI, LLMs, or AI-powered application integration .

The selected candidate will work closely with AI/ML and backend engineering teams to integrate enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and backend services with AI agents and LLM-powered workflows .

The role is suitable for a strong Java backend engineer who understands modern AI integration patterns and can build reliable, scalable backend services that enable AI-driven enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Java & Microservices Development

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices .
- Develop backend applications using Java and Spring Boot .
- Build reusable, secure, and high-performance RESTful services.
- Implement business logic and backend integrations based on functional requirements.
- Troubleshoot application issues and optimize service performance.
- Follow clean coding, design patterns, testing, and software engineering best practices.

API Development & Integration
- Design and develop REST APIs for enterprise applications.
- Build API orchestration layers required for AI-agent interactions.
- Integrate backend services with internal and external systems.
- Develop interfaces that allow AI agents to securely interact with enterprise applications.
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, and API security.
- Work with API gateways and enterprise integration patterns where applicable.

Agentic AI / LLM Integration
- Collaborate with AI/ML and Agentic AI developers to integrate backend services with AI workflows.
- Develop backend capabilities that can be exposed as tools or APIs for AI agents .
- Support integration between Java microservices and LLM-powered applications .
- Understand how AI agents interact with APIs, enterprise systems, databases, and business services.
- Participate in implementing AI-agent workflows and enterprise automation solutions.




- Help ensure AI integrations are secure, scalable, reliable, and production-ready.

Event-Driven Architecture
- Design and develop event-driven services using Kafka .
- Implement asynchronous communication between microservices.
- Work with event producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and messaging patterns.
- Troubleshoot event-processing and integration issues.
- Apply appropriate enterprise integration patterns for distributed systems.

Database & Enterprise Integration
- Develop and optimize database interactions using PostgreSQL or Oracle .
- Design efficient queries and data-access components.
- Integrate microservices with enterprise databases and applications.
- Work with distributed systems and enterprise application integration requirements.
- Ensure data consistency and reliability across integrated systems.

System Design & Production Support
- Participate in application architecture and system design discussions.
- Contribute to designing scalable and fault-tolerant microservices.
- Identify performance, security, and reliability improvements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Experience
- 3–7 years of professional software development experience .
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot .
- Strong experience developing REST-based Microservices .
- Experience with Kafka / Event-Driven Architecture .
- Experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle.
- Experience with enterprise application integration.
- Exposure to Agentic AI / LLM-based solutions .
- Ability to work with AI/ML teams on backend and API integrations.
- Experience with Git and Docker.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a strong Java Backend / Microservices Engineer who is interested in modern AI application development. The candidate should be comfortable working across traditional enterprise backend engineering and emerging Agentic AI integration patterns , including connecting AI agents with APIs, databases, business applications, and backend services.

Robust communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills are required.
