About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, operating in a hybrid work mode. This role is vital to our ongoing projects involving complex backend systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services that support our enterprise clients' digital transformation initiatives.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects, utilize the latest technologies, and collaborate with talented professionals in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in backend development with a strong foundation in Core Java.



A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is required. Candidates must have hands-on experience with microservices architecture, including containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.

Proficiency in working with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming is essential. Additionally, experience with relational and NoSQL databases like Postgres, MongoDB, and Graph databases is required. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and its various services is necessary.

Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and expertise in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests are also critical for this role.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java and related technologies.
- Implement microservices architecture, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes/EKS for containerization, deployment, and orchestration of microservices.
- Integrate and manage data streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka to support real-time data processing needs.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases,



optimizing queries and ensuring data integrity and security.
- Leverage AWS cloud services for deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications.
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies to foster continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in backend development and cloud computing.
