Summary

We are looking for a Java Developer with 4-6 years of experience in building backend services using Java (21+) and Spring Boot. The role involves designing and developing REST APIs, hosting applications in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), working with PostgreSQL databases, and leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot with Microservices architecture

•Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external services

•Develop and optimize PostgreSQL schema, queries, and database performance

•Implement business logic with robust focus on clean code, SOLID principles, and maintainability

•Write unit/integration tests and support CI/CD quality gates

•Leverage AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, IntelliCode) for code generation, debugging, documentation, and productivity improvements

•Use AI tools for automated test generation, code review support, and performance optimization insights

•Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution

•Collaborate with product,



frontend, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile delivery

Required Skills & Experience

•4-6 years of hands-on development experience in backend systems

•Strong proficiency in Core Java, OOP, Collections, Exception handling, & Streams

•Strong experience with Spring Boot (REST, validation, configuration, profiles)

•Experience with PostgreSQL (joins, indexing, query optimization, schema design)

•Familiarity with ORM frameworks such as Spring Data JPA / Hibernate

•Experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, and standard development workflows

•Working exposure to AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, IntelliCode, Sonar AI capabilities) to enhance development efficiency

•Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills and ability to work on performance issues

Good to Have

•Working knowledge of Axway-CFT, IBM MQ

•Observability: Logging, monitoring, and tracing (ELK, Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry)

•Exposure to AI-enabled DevOps practices (e.g., AI-based code analysis, automated quality checks, intelligent monitoring insights)
