We are looking for an experienced Java Engineer with robust hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable backend applications and working closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with front-end applications and third-party services.
- Design and develop scalable microservices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and DevOps.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
- Good knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Experience with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience deploying and operating scalable Java microservices on cloud, preferably GCP.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good to Have
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with JUnit and Mockito.
- Experience with cloud-native application development.
- Strong production support and troubleshooting experience.
