Position: Java Developer – JSP, Servlets & Application Vulnerability

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, JSP, and Servlets, along with practical experience in identifying, analyzing, and remediating application vulnerabilities.

The ideal candidate should have experience working on enterprise Java applications, troubleshooting production issues, fixing security vulnerabilities, and implementing secure coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Core Java, JSP, and Servlets.
- Develop and maintain server-side components and web applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Analyze existing application code and implement enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
- Identify, analyze, and remediate application security vulnerabilities.
- Work on vulnerabilities identified through security scanning tools, penetration testing, code reviews, and vulnerability assessments.
- Fix common web application vulnerabilities such as XSS, SQL Injection, CSRF, authentication/authorization issues, insecure configurations,



and input validation vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with security, QA, application support, and infrastructure teams to resolve security and application issues.
- Perform code debugging, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Participate in application upgrades, patches, and security remediation activities.
- Follow secure coding standards and software development best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation related to application changes, vulnerabilities, and remediation activities.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of experience in Java Development.
- Solid hands-on experience with:
- Core Java
- JSP
- Servlets
- Java/J2EE web applications
- Strong understanding of HTTP, web application architecture, and session management.
- Experience in identifying and fixing application vulnerabilities/security issues.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
- Experience working with vulnerability/security scanning tools such as Fortify, Checkmarx, SonarQube, Veracode, Snyk, or similar tools is preferred.
