Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Develop scalable and reliable applications using Microservices architecture.

- Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and external APIs/services.

- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code following coding best practices.

- Work with relational databases and develop complex SQL queries involving joins, subqueries, and data manipulation.

- Implement data persistence using JPA/Hibernate.

- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

- Use Git for source code management and version control.

- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve technical problems.

- Work with AWS services for application deployment and cloud-based solutions.

- Implement and work with Redis/caching where required to improve application performance.

- Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving application quality, performance, and scalability.

Must-Have Skills:

- 2 - 3 years of overall software development experience, with strong hands-on experience in Java development.

- Strong knowledge of Core Java and Java 8+.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.

- Robust understanding of Microservices architecture.





- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

- Experience integrating applications with internal and external APIs/services.

- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

- Ability to write complex SQL queries, joins, and subqueries.

- Hands-on experience with JPA/Hibernate.

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

- Good knowledge of Git and version control practices.

- Experience working with AWS.

- Knowledge of Redis and caching mechanisms.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic.

- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI and Postman.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Understanding of application performance monitoring and optimization.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Relevant hands-on development experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
