Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Java Developer role based in Pune. The Java Developer will work on building, enhancing, and maintaining MAHIR’s financial technology platforms across backend services, web applications, and mobile applications. The role involves developing robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot, designing and integrating APIs, working with databases, and contributing to web and mobile features using React.js and React Native.

The developer will collaborate closely with product, design, research, and technology teams to understand requirements and translate them into reliable and scalable technical solutions. The role will also involve debugging and optimizing existing applications, implementing recent features, participating in code reviews, and following structured development and deployment practices.

Skills & Qualifications

- Strong programming foundation with hands-on experience in Java and J2EE.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot for developing scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Hibernate and SQL databases,



including database design and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with React.js for developing modern and responsive web features.
- Experience or familiarity with React Native for building and maintaining mobile applications.
- Understanding of software development practices including design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Ability to work with APIs and integrate backend services with web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and common software development principles.
- Good understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to work closely with product and cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong focus on writing clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Good to Have

- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Exposure to fintech, financial services, investment platforms, or related domains.
- Experience working on scalable applications handling real-time or high-volume data.

Compensation

- CTC Range: ₹4.8–₹6.0 LPA
- Monthly Salary Equivalent: ₹35,000–₹45,000 per month
- Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience, technical skills, and overall fit for the role.
