nAbout the Role

nWe are looking for a Java Backend Developer with 3–5 years of experience to work on UPI, PPI and BBPS backend applications . The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, SQL and third-party API integrations .

nHands-on experience with at least one live UPI application / UPI app is mandatory.

nKey Responsibilities

n

- Develop and maintain backend services using Core Java and Spring Boot .
n
- Build REST APIs and microservices for UPI and BBPS applications .
n
- Work on UPI transaction flows including initiation, validation, success/failed/pending handling, status enquiry, reversal, refund and callbacks/webhooks.
n
- Develop BBPS APIs for bill fetch, bill payment, transaction status, validation and reconciliation.
n
- Integrate with banks, PSPs, payment gateways, BBPS systems, billers and third-party APIs.
n
- Implement idempotency, duplicate prevention, retries, timeout handling and exception handling.
n




- Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle and write optimized SQL queries.
n
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA and implement permanent fixes.
n
- Participate in testing, code reviews, performance optimization and production releases.

- BBPS experience is highly preferred
n
- Banking / FinTech / Digital Payments experience is an advantage

nGood to Have

nKafka / RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker / Kubernetes, AWS/Cloud, CI/CD, Prometheus/Grafana/ELK and high-volume transaction processing.
