We are seeking a energetic individual to join the IWM LCS team, based in Powai. The individual will be reporting to the Head of LCS and working closely with the LCS team, RMs, IPS team, Control functions in Singapore/Hong Kong to facilitate and manage IWM's loan book growth.
Responsibilities
- Origination: Participate in internal client reviews / portfolio analysis for identifying financing opportunities based on client KYC / RM discussions
- Origination: Marketing IWM's financing capabilities to RMs
- Origination: Building the lending pipeline for discussion with internal control functions
- Structuring &
- Execution: Working closely with Global LCS team / RMs to structure financing solutions
- Structuring &
- Execution: Participating in internal discussions and preparing term sheets for clients
- Structuring &
- Execution: Preparing credit memos/analysis for internal discussion and approvals
- Structuring &
- Execution: Working on legal documentation for client execution
- Marketing: Being an ambassador for lending to market the product offering to RMs
- Marketing: Participate / conduct lending specific training to increase credit/lending awareness of the IWM franchise and improve loan penetration within the IWM book
- Platform / Process Enhancements: Be actively involved in designing processes for productivity improvements and improving lending sales management practices of the LCS team
Key Skills
- Sound knowledge of financial analysis for corporates from an equity analyst OR credit analyst perspective
- Good clarity of thought, effective communication skills, sound presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills, team oriented, flexible, hungry to learn, diligent and self-motivated
- Collaborative mindset, respectful attitude and ability to work under pressure and tight timelines, if required
- Familiar with regional / international financial markets, legal / regulatory frameworks
- Good understanding of credit processes of the wealth management business
- Independent decision-maker, ability to support / defend financing structures
- Qualification: MBA (Finance) / CFA (US) / CA preferred
