We are looking for an experienced Draftsman (0-2 years experience) with an ITI - Draftsman background to join our engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to design exact wire harness and cable drawings, and translate complex engineering designs into clear, step-by-step assembly work instructions and technical documentation for our production floor.
- Technical Documentation: Author detailed assembly work instructions (SOPs), user manuals, and other technical documentation for the production floor.
- Drawing Review: Conduct thorough reviews of engineering drawings to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with design engineers and the manufacturing / assembly team to resolve assembly, testing & fitment issues. Confidential and proprietary not for distribution or use without written Required Skills &
Qualifications Technical Skills:
- Education: ITI in Drafting (Draftsman Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience in creating 2D Drawings, wire harness and cable design.
- CAD Software Expertise: Proficiency in at least one or more of the following: SolidWorks Solid Edge Siemens NX (Unigraphics)
- Office & Productivity Tools: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word (for creating structured manuals/instructions).
Strong familiarity with Google Sheets and Google Slides for data tracking and presentations.
