Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on IT Engineer to support our day-to-day IT operations and ensure smooth functioning of our systems, devices, network, and workplace technology.

The role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting users, managing IT assets and access, and assisting with the maintenance and security of the company's IT infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working closely with users and technology.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day IT support to employees for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot Windows and Mac OS-related issues and provide timely resolution.
- Support Microsoft 365, email systems, user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access requirements.
- Assist with network, internet, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic connectivity-related issues.
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including system setup, access provisioning, and device allocation.
- Maintain IT asset records, inventory, software licenses, and equipment assignments.
- Assist with IT procurement, installations, upgrades, repairs, and equipment replacements.
- Support conference room technology, video conferencing systems, and other workplace technology.
- Follow IT security practices and assist with maintaining system and access controls.




- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required.
- Maintain basic IT documentation, records, and troubleshooting guides.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate senior team member or external service provider.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–4/5 years of experience in IT Support, IT Operations, IT Infrastructure, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic understanding of Mac OS.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, email systems, user accounts, and access management.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addresses, DNS, VPN, and internet connectivity.
- Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of IT asset management and system setup.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with users across different teams.
- Ability to manage multiple IT support requests and prioritize issues effectively.

Preferred

- Experience supporting 50+ users or working in a corporate IT environment.
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 administration or endpoint/device management tools.
- Familiarity with basic cybersecurity and data protection practices.
- Knowledge of backup systems, antivirus/endpoint security, or network monitoring tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or other IT certifications.
