Key Responsibilities

- OPD Billing: Generate consultation, diagnostic, and procedure bills for outpatients; handle registration and cash/digital collections. [1]

- IPD Billing &
- Discharge:

Manage admission estimates, interim bills, and final discharge invoices to ensure smooth and error-free clearance. [1, 2]

- Charge Verification: Cross-verify pharmacy items, room rent, consumables, and consultant/surgeon fees against hospital tariffs and patient medical records. [1]

- Insurance &

- TPA Coordination:

Process cashless mediclaim requests, compile corporate/government scheme documents (e.g., Ayushman Bharat), and follow up on approvals. [1, 2]

- Dispute &

- Query Resolution:

Address patient billing queries or discrepancies professionally and collect pending payments. [1]

- Reporting: Maintain daily/monthly collection logs, credit reports, and Management Information System (MIS) summaries.

- Education





- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field. [1]

Required Skills &

- Competencies

- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Hospital Management Software (HMS / HIS), billing modules, and MS Excel.

- Core Skills: High numerical accuracy, sharp attention to detail, and sound understanding of medical terminology/tariff structures.

- Soft Skills: Positive interpersonal communication, patient-counselling ability, and patience under pressure during high-volume discharge hours

- Experience: 1 to 2 years of hands-on billing or revenue cycle experience in a hospital or multi-specialty clinic. [1]

Pay: ₹10,013.51 - ₹22,642.85 per month
