Role Description The Investment Banking Trainer (Part time hourly basis) at Goalfinity will design and deliver investment banking training programs for students and professionals, with a focus on practical, industry-oriented content. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, involving classroom teaching, workshops, and interactive sessions covering topics such as financial modeling, valuation, M&A;, capital markets, and corporate finance. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing curriculum and lesson plans, creating learning materials and case studies, assessing learner performance, and providing constructive feedback and guidance.





The trainer will collaborate with the academic team to keep course content aligned with current industry practices and support learners with career-related advice within the investment banking domain. The role also requires maintaining high standards of professionalism and fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of investment banking domains such as financial modeling, valuation techniques, mergers and acquisitions (M&A;), capital markets, and corporate finance.
- Experience in training, teaching, or mentoring in finance or investment banking, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learner groups.
- Proficiency in analytical tools and methods, including Excel-based modeling, data analysis, and preparation of presentations or reports.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to lead classroom sessions, workshops, and discussions effectively.
- Ability to design structured course content, case studies, and assessments that reflect real-world investment banking scenarios.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- Previous professional experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related financial services roles is highly beneficial.
