Role Description This is a full time remote role for an Interior Designer at MM Designs.

The Interior

Designer will develop design concepts, prepare mood boards, and translate client requirements into detailed interior layouts and material schemes. Daily work includes space planning, producing drawings and documentation, coordinating FF&E; selections, and ensuring design intent is maintained through all project phases. The role involves collaborating with architects, consultants, and vendors, attending virtual client meetings, and revising designs based on feedback.

Designer will also support project timelines,



maintain organized digital project files, and contribute to design presentations and proposals.

Qualifications

- Strong interior design skills with experience in Interior Design and Space Planning for residential, commercial, or institutional projects.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and ability to coordinate interior concepts with overall building design.
- Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings, detail drawings, and documentation suitable for contractors and consultants.
- Experience with FF&E; selection, including finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with design intent and budgets.
- Competence in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Strong visual, spatial, and conceptual design abilities, with attention to detail and functionality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple remote projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in professional interior design practice; exposure to Indian design context and building standards is an advantage.
